Collaborators Wanted

Would a few people be interested in collaborating on my blog? I endeavour to reach out to an editor and a couple of translators-revisers when I want to talk about a general topic related to the language industry. These include summaries of events, book or dictionary reviews, software for professionals, or terminology usage. Subjects regarding English grammar, editing, translation, or writing will be written exclusively in English. To that end, I am seeking

  • an English editor (preferably a serial comma fan);
  • two French translators-revisers; and
  • two Spanish translators-revisers.

Why am I looking for two translators-revisers? If one is busy when I ask for a text to be translated, I can ask the other to pitch in. Hopefully the other translator will be able to revise the translated text. I also think it’s important for language professionals to work together: they can ask questions, discuss tricky words or sentences to translate, and more. It’s all in the spirit of teamwork! And having an editor on board is always a good idea. Who knows what I might have missed when I wrote texts?

As a word of thanks, your name will appear at the end of each text you translate or edit.

If you’re interested in giving me a hand, simply leave a reply or fill out my contact form.

Thanks!
